Our family hotel is almost barrier-free

We are happy to provide verbal, written and digital information about accessibility at the Familotel amiamo on request.

Accessibility in the hotel

Arrival

Barrier-free parking spaces are available on the outdoor car park deck. The path from the car park to the entrance is continuous, asphalted and slightly inclined. The nearest bus stop is approx. 200 metres from the hotel.

Entrance

There is a sliding door in the underground car park. This is opened automatically in advance and closes with a time delay. It is a glass door. The door is at least 90 cm wide. There is at least 150 x 150 cm of space in front of and behind the door.
The reception can be reached via the underground car park using a lift. There is at least 150 x 150 cm of space in front of and behind the lift. The lift door is at least 80 cm wide. The operating elements for the lift are at a height of 90 to 110 cm. The controls are designed according to the 2-senses principle.
Reception is steplessly accessible.

Guest rooms

The rooms are all steplessly accessible by lift. The corridor to the rooms is at least 120 cm wide. Space in the room is limited, but sufficient. There are wheelchair-accessible shelves. The controls (heating, door openers, sockets, switches...) are accessible. The bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The shower does not have a shower seat.

Wellness area

The wellness area is located in the basement and can be reached by lift. The entrance doors to the indoor pool and sauna are secured by a door opener. This is not accessible for wheelchair users. There are two steps in both the sauna area and the indoor pool.

Public areas

  • The restaurant is barrier-free.
  • The children's area is secured by a door opener and is not accessible for wheelchair users.
  • The bar area is barrier-free.
  • The hotel terrace is barrier-free.

Children with disabilities

Naturally, children with disabilities are also very welcome in our childcare centre. In general, it is important for us to find out about children with disabilities in advance to avoid disappointment on site. This is the only way to decide individually whether and in what form the care of a child with a disability can be guaranteed.

Digital accessibility

We endeavour to make our website as accessible as possible and to provide all users with easy access to information. The implementation of digital accessibility is an ongoing process that we are constantly working on.

Despite the utmost care, it is possible that some content is not yet fully accessible or that certain functions are not optimally usable for all user groups. If you encounter any barriers or technical restrictions, please let us know. Together we can check how we can further improve accessibility.
