Restaurant specialist

You set and decorate the tables, welcome and advise the guests and make sure that everyone feels completely at ease. If your guests leave the restaurant with a smile, you have achieved your goal. It's definitely a plus if you're interested in food and drinks yourself and can give advice.

Are you a talented organiser and always know where the best locations are? Do you love having an overview and finding a solution to every problem? And you're not shy either? Then this could be your job. HGAs take care of organisational and administrative tasks in the hotel, welcome and say goodbye to guests and make sure that guests feel completely at ease during their stay.

Are you outgoing, organised and like to lend a hand? Then a job as a catering specialist could be just right for you. Catering specialists are proficient in all areas of catering. Since 2005, this 4-year apprenticeship has replaced the former dual apprenticeship of "cook and restaurant specialist". You will ensure that everything is ready in the kitchen, that food is prepared and that guests are looked after in the service department - from ordering to serving and paying.

You will familiarise yourself with all areas of a hotel and work closely with various departments. This is the ideal apprenticeship if you are well organised, enjoy working with people and are interested in business contexts.

Fancy a look behind the scenes of a hotel? At amiamo, you have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience - in both the summer and winter seasons.
We offer internships in various areas: from childcare, kitchen and service to reception and housekeeping. This allows you to gain insights into areas that match your interests and actively help shape everyday hotel life.
